Littler Mendelson P.C. the labor law firm that is located in San Francisco has been acknowledged as the chief law firm for women by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), a division of Working Mother Media, and Flex-Time Lawyers LLC, marking the third year that Littler has been entrusted with this honor.
Marko Mrkonich, president and managing director of Littler stated that this recognition is mainly rewarding as the maintenance and development of their female attorneys is a core firm value. He also stated that they were tremendously committed to supporting their women lawyers and implementing new female and family friendly policies that persuade their professional success.
The 2011 best law firms for Women application was initiated in a partnership between Working Mother Media and Flex-Time Lawyers LLC. Firms with at least 50 lawyers were qualified to apply and the application included detailed questions regarding the issues that there most important to the maintenance and encouragement of female lawyers.The 50 winning firms were selected based on responses to an application measuring areas that included workforce profile, family-friendly policies, flexibility, leadership, reimbursement, development and withholding of women.
