OSHAThe Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) is one of the acts of the Environmental Law. It is one of the important law which lays emphasis for the employees of any organization. To be more precise, the law ensures that the employers provide the employees good working environment which is devoid of mechanical dangers,poisonous chemicals,high degrees of heat , cold or excessive noise levels.Thus this act enforces the wellbeing, fitness and the welfare of the employees.

The act was enforced in the US in the year 1970.Each country has its own form of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.In Canada, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), a group of the Government of Canada, was created in 1978 by an Act of Parliament.The act was based on the belief that all Canadians had a basic right to a healthy as well as safe working conditions.The UK safety and health regulations come under Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.In Malaysia, Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is incharge of safety and health conditions.
